For over two centuries now Russian artists were creating the exquisite beauty with Silver Inlay and boldly colored glazes. Russia still must have been beaten by the silver and enamel art work created by others. A common method is the second "cloisonne" method. In this method of application enamel, the sections of the art designed by very thin wires used are desired and the enamel is then applied between the cable sections at the top of the illustration. The "watermark" method of enamel applications is also done with small applications of silver wire, but are a little more detailed design wire meshing at the artwork. The technique of enamel own history has a story to tell.
