What do the colors pink, red, white and blue mean in Lord of the Flies?
Our English teacher gave my tenth grade class a question about the novel Lord of the Flies … What Golding achieved through the repetition of pink / red and blue / white? Nobody in our class has no clue whatsoever. We repeat these long ago, the conch, stone, blood, the horizon, the parachute, eyes, flowers, water … But nothing seems to have much sense.
